When will the World Series begin?

Game 1 of the 2021 World Series is set for Tuesday, October 26th.

The Astros have a home-field advantage, so the first pitch will be at 8:09 EST in Houston.

The Astros will start left-handed Framber Valdez, 27, and the Braves will start 37-year-old Charlie Morton.

Valdes threw ALCS Game 5 and gave up just three hits and one run in eight innings, helping the Astros win.

Morton is solid for the Braves, admitting two earned runs for each of the three playoff starts in Atlanta.
