Youngstown, Ohio (WKBN) – Junior Darius Squisenbury of Youngstown State University will leave the men’s basketball program and enter the NCAA transfer portal.

Penguins Point Guard announced Thursday on social media:

Quisenberry was the first player in school history to win all league honors in the first two seasons. He started 78 games for penguins and scored an average of over 15 points per contest during the first three seasons at YSU.

“Because I’m graduating in three years, this is a great opportunity to broaden my horizons and put my name on the transfer portal as a graduate transfer,” Quisenberry said in a post.

Last April, Quisenberry declared the 2020 NBA Draft, but withdrew his name by the deadline for returning to YSU in the junior season.
