‘Grandma’ and ‘Grandpa’ of Grandpa’s Cheeseburn die within days

Ashtabula, Ohio — just two days after the death of “Grandpa” Baum, His wife “Grandma” Vera Baum has died.
Grandpa’s Cheese Barn We announced the news in a Facebook post on Saturday morning. Less than a week ago on her Sunday, December 4, the couple celebrated their 73rd wedding anniversary.
“We are saddened and will miss this special couple incredibly, but the Lord has a greater purpose and is calling them home for Christmas. Together they are in love.” , family and business legacy,” Grandpa’s Cheesebarn & Sweeties Chocolates said in a Facebook post.
“The family thanks you for your love and outpouring of memories. Heaven got two sweet smiles. Say cheese and a prayer as we all make this journey together.”
Grandpa’s Cheesebarn was founded in 1978 by Paul Baum and Vera Baum with their daughter Ronda and husband Richard Poorbaugh.
Earlier this week, Thursday, December 8th, Grandpa’s Cheesebarn announced that ‘Grandpa’ Baum had passed away at the age of 93.
“We have been blessed with their guidance and presence these past few years. The Lord has a greater purpose and called him home at Christmas.”
