SPRING VALLEY, Ohio (WDTN) – The 45th Annual Spring Valley Potato Festival officially opens on Saturday, October 1st.
According to Potato Festival, the festival will take place on U.S. Route 42, halfway between Waynesville and Xenia, at 2 West Main Street in Spring Valley from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, October 10. It runs from 9am to 6pm. 2.
On Saturday, the 23rd Annual 5K ‘Tatertrot’ takes place before the festival opens, starting at 8am on Walton Park’s bike trails. Runners for the event will be on the Spring Valley Village and Little Miami Scenic Trail bike paths. Prizes will be awarded in separate categories for men and women.
The Spring Valley Potato Festival features arts & crafts, parades, farmers markets, games, food and more.
