Stephen: The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office is looking for her three suspects who have been charged with breaking into a home and shooting a sheriff’s deputy. Lacey Roberts lives by what we know so far. Lacey: I got a burglary call around midnight. This is still an active investigation, but if you want to watch the previous videos, here’s what we know so far. Our cameras were located where the burglary had taken place. There were said to be three suspects leading the police in the chase, with deputies from the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department tracking them down and following them to his township in Miami. The vehicle then crashed and the suspect flew into a wooded area. You can see that the legislators were actively searching. A drone was used in his one point of the search. One of the suspects shot the deputy her twice. No one was hit or injured in the exchange of fire. The cruiser was damaged when the suspect crashed his car at the swim club where the search began. Police and crew are at the crash site blocking the interstate in Silverton Tuesday morning. Southbound Interstate 71 is closed at the end of Kenwood Road due to a collision, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation. ODOT cameras show that traffic has stopped heading back onto the Ronald Reagan Highway. Drivers should expect a delay of at least 20 minutes.
