Another Candidate Enters City Council Election Campaign – WOWO 1190 AM
Fort Wayne, Indiana (WOWO): Another candidate raced for the 4th District seat on the Fort Wayne City Council.
Joe Townsend entered the race to fill the seat vacated by incumbent Jason Earp, who is running for mayor.
A Republican, Townsend is the owner of the Best Western Luxbury Inn in southwest Fort Wayne. He will take ownership of the hotel in his 2021. In his campaign, he says that before running the hotel, he had multiple jobs using the stock market and cryptocurrencies to help make purchases.
He has Scott Myers and Nicky Clark in the primary.

Previously, Patti Hayes announced she would run for the vacant Democratic seat.
The primary is Tuesday, May 2nd.
