Avelo Airlines to Host First Flight from Dayton

Dayton, Ohio (WDTN) — this is Avelo’s first fully booked first flight and we hope to see more flights with seats sold out. Avelo is based in Orlando, Florida and began flying in January 2021.

Their aircraft is a 737 and they fly to 34 destinations across the United States.

The flight crew was thrilled to see the full flight. Avelo flight attendant Aleah King said she and her team felt a warm welcome in Dayton when they first landed here.

“(It) was so special. The community here seems so sweet and lovely. A full flight, I hope to see a lot of people and get to know the people here.I love seeing familiar faces.So a full flight and a lot of fun,” she said. .

Dayton Mayor Jeffrey Mimms Jr., along with other city commissioners, attended the first flight from Dayton International Airport and cut the ribbon with the crew and staff. Avelo’s Communications Her Manager, Courtney Goff, says they strive for the best possible service.

“We encourage people to travel with what we call the Avelo Seoul Service, which offers the convenience of low fares and a really great service from the time you check-in at the check-in counter to the time you board the plane to the time you board the plane. In flight with our crew,” Goff said.

Avelo is offering $59 flights until the end of the month in celebration.
