Bookmarx is writing a new chapter on Steubenville 4th Avenue
Steubenville, Ohio (WTRF) — The revival story of Steubenville 4th Avenue is currently being written…and Bookmarks is excited to be a part of the characters.
The bookstore entered a new era when John Kuhner took over earlier this year following the retirement of previous owners Peter Marx and Patricia Marx.
He is already a part of the community through books as well as other media.
Kuehner organized the following exhibitions: Rio Bravo This weekend at the Dean Martin Festival…and we hope to bring more films to the Grand Theater in the near future.
He sees his new ownership as more than just dealing with literature.
“A small business that does books downtown. I love books. , it’s fun to be a part of it, and it’s fun to be one of the young executives trying to make things work here.”
John Kuehner, Bookmarx Owner
The store plans to keep more new books in store in the future, including bestsellers like CS Lewis and JRR Tolkien.
A new space near the window was cleared for storytelling.
Don’t worry, Bookmarx fans. The store’s mascot, Raven, still roams the shelves.
