First ‘probable’ case of monkeypox in Clark County

CLARK COUNTY, OH (WDTN) — The Clark County Multiple Health District has discovered the first probable case of monkeypox in the county.

CCCHD is awaiting laboratory confirmation of the first possible case of monkeypox and is encouraging vaccination in the meantime.

Immunization is now offered to people who have had monkeypox or who are at high risk of contracting monkeypox.Ann online form A two-dose JYNNEOS vaccine is available to eligible individuals interested.
