Free health fair in Belmont County on Wednesday
BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio (WTRF) –
Belmont County residents can now take another step toward improving their health.
A free health fair will be held Wednesday at Bridgeport High School, sponsored by the Belmont County NAACP, Wheeling Health Light and the Belmont County Health Department.
If it's been a while since you've seen your doctor, you can easily find out your numbers, from blood pressure to body mass index, cholesterol to blood sugar.
It also helps with dental health and mental health.
“They're going to be hooking up a machine to do osteoporosis scans, which is new this year. So we're very excited to be able to offer some of those services. We're also very excited to be able to offer some of those services. There are also some insurance options for those who don't have or are underinsured. ”
Jerry Moore II, Belmont County NAACP President
“I think this is a great tool and a great start. I think this is the second year. So each year they'll learn more and we'll explore different ways to work with the NAACP.” We're going to find out.'' Just keep reaching out to families and promoting the fairness and responsibility that we all deserve as human beings. ”
Brent Ripley, Bridgeport Schools Superintendent
