Local gardener John Hippley is happy to have free walkthroughs for everyone in Columbiana, Ohio
Columbiana, Ohio (WKBN) – Visitors flock to the location of Columbiana when the trees and flowers bloom in the spring.
Landscaper John Hippley installed the first backyard garden in 1997.
It now covers about 3 acres just off North Main Street, including a new koi pond that is nearly complete.
According to Hipley, the gardens have had visitors from 46 states and nine countries.
“Especially when you’re working in the garden, it’s nice to see little kids and their smiling faces and even their parents. Inside, it says ‘For all our children’. “
Hipley does not charge people to walk in the gardens. hippleygardens.com
