A CSX train hit a pedestrian near Riverside Drive in Tiffin on Sunday night, police said.
TIFFIN, Ohio — Police and railroad officials are investigating a man who was hit by a train in Tiffin on Sunday night.
Tiffin Police Chief Dave Polley said police were called at 10:11 p.m. by CSX Railroad officials that an eastbound train collided with a pedestrian on the north side of the Riverside Drive Viaduct.
The train stopped on the tracks for some time from Sunday night, blocking traffic, he said.
The man hit by the train was taken by ambulance to Tiffin Mercy Hospital. police Said.
No information about the person’s identity or condition was available.
