Monica Phillips of Youngstown, Ohio spreads love with drive-thru prayers
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — Throughout the Valley, many celebrated Easter Sunday by spreading prayer and positivity.
In Youngstown, on the corner of Midlothian Boulevard and Market Street, “Need a Prayer?
Monica Phillips says she’s been praying with people this way for 17 years. She says she was in church when she realized it was her calling to get out of her building and help others.
“We just came out and let them know that Jesus loves them. We don’t have to judge. A lot of people don’t go to church in church buildings,” Phillips said. “But there has to be someone here to let them know that Jesus loves them.”
Phillips plans to do this weekly in various neighborhoods around Youngstown.
