MyOHIO Success Network (MOSN) updates for Ohio State faculty and staff

MyOHIO Success Network (MOSN) has been established at Ohio University since 2016. After evaluating the potential and limitations of existing technologies, the underlying technologies for MOSN are being replaced.

The 2024-25 school year will be a transition year as we continue to define and implement new platforms. Here's what you need to know about how key elements of MOSN will continue during the transition.

Faculty

• Mid-term progress survey To be continued. As in previous years, you will receive an email with a link to complete the mid-class progress survey and that information will be shared with your student success advisor.
• academic warning It will begin in the fall semester through the Faculty and Advisor Center. If you have concerns that you would normally submit through MOSN's Academic Alerts feature during the summer, please email: MyOhioSuccessNetwork@ohio.edu.
• Scheduling a reservation You must migrate to Microsoft Bookings by May 10, 2024. Faculty who use MOSN to schedule appointments have been sent a direct email regarding this change. For reservation details, see below. This knowledge base article. If you need further assistance, you can submit an IT help ticket from that page or by calling the Help Desk at 740-593-1222.

• ohio online advisor Trial operations of the new technology are scheduled to begin this summer. Mid-term progress surveys and new student acceptance surveys will be sent out in mid-June. Training will be conducted before the change, and advisors will be able to follow up with students based on the survey results. (Please note that the mid-term progress survey will only be sent to instructors of online her class teaching record at Ohio State in the summer.)
• Faculty and Counseling Center Enhanced to support identification of students who are not enrolled or under-enrolled for a particular semester. This feature became available on April 5, 2024.
• Flags not yet registered will continue to be updated on MOSN until May 10th. In addition, the University Registrar's Office will be sending reminder emails throughout the summer to students who are not registered.
• May 10, 2024 is the last day you can log in directly to MOSN.
• After May 11, 2024, Use Microsoft Booking to allow students to schedule directly with you.
