WHEELING, W.Va. — Neely's Grocery held its first Easter egg hunt and cookout on Sunday.
There was music, games, and food for the family to sit back and enjoy. After the egg hunt, “Easter dogs”, grilled ham with pineapple glaze and hot dog buns, were prepared and served to guests.
Maria Miller, co-owner of Neely's Grocery, said the event was created for the community as a way to bring people together for Easter.
“The reason we wanted to do it on Easter Sunday is because we want for the community, for people who don't have those traditions, to be able to stop and start a new tradition with us. We had a great turnout and are very excited to be hosting it again next year.”

Maria Miller said she hopes everyone has a happy Easter and hopes they'll join her next year.
