Ohio 19-year-old dies after car hits tree

DELAWARE, Ohio (WCMH) — A 19-year-old man has died after crashing Saturday night in Delaware County.

Waldo’s Bobby Brown was driving his Hyundai just after midnight on State Route 257 just north of Donovan Road in Thompson Township, according to a statement by the Ohio Highway Patrol. The Hyundai veered off the right side of the road and hit a tree.Medics pronounced Brown dead at the scene.

OSHP said Brown was wearing a seatbelt and initial investigations said alcohol was not a factor. OSHP continues to investigate the crash.
