Ohio inmate who escaped from Columbus behavior hospital arrested
CHAPMANVILLE, W.Va.—An Escaped Ohio inmate He was detained by West Virginia police late Sunday night Thursday night from the Columbus Behavioral Hospital.
The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office said Jacob Davidson, 38, was arrested in Chapmanville, West Virginia, by West Virginia State Police.
Davidson escaped from the Twin Valley Behavioral Health Hospital at 2200 West Broad Street shortly after 8pm Thursday night.
He was charged with violent assault, firing a firearm on or near prohibited premises, obstructing public service, and mishandling a firearm in a motor vehicle. He was ordered to be held on $2 million bail.
He is currently being held in Western Regional Penitentiary, awaiting extradition to Ohio.
