Ohio's 2nd Congressional District is certain to be Republican, and Taylor is expected to be elected to the House of Representatives in November.

Republican Brad Wenstrup was re-elected to the 2nd District in 2022 with 74.5% of the vote, but plans to retire at the end of his term.
