LEXINGTON, Ohio (WCMH) – Sister trio Sorrell wowed the judges with a rendition of The Jackson 5’s “Blame It On The Boogie” on the “Knockout” round of NBC’s “The Voice.” The song gave the girls a chance to showcase their vocals and dance moves, and it paid off.
“We’ve been doing this ever since we were little. We love this song. We’ve been doing these dance moves since we were five or seven years old, just like it comes to mind.” We were doing ‘Blame It on The Boogie’ every night,” Ana Heichel said.
“When you’re a kid, your imagination runs wild. You dream about everything you can do. From being on the moon to being on a giant stage, which was our dream. So nostalgic,” Ana said. Told.
The song also gave them the opportunity to enhance the entertainment value that the trio strongly holds dear.
“You want to see people who really love what they do. Told. “So we’re nervous, but we’re trying to take it in. We know this could be the last time we’ll be playing on this stage, so we put everything into this stage and We’re going to get excited about each other while we’re here.”
Catch the Sorelle playoffs on NBC4 on Monday, May 1 at 8 PM.
