Ohio toddler kidnapped from yard, investigators say

WHITEHALL, Ohio (WJW) – The Amber Alert for toddlers in Franklin County was canceled Sunday night, investigators say.

An Amber Alert was previously issued across Central Ohio after investigators said he was playing in his front yard when a woman took him in a Ford Explorer.

The incident reportedly occurred around 5:15 p.m. on Elaine Road, Whitehall.

The Whitehall Police Department later confirmed WCMH in Columbus That the child was safely home.

As of 8:56 PM Sunday, the amber alert has been cleared.
