One dead, one hospitalized in Ohio shooting: police

Lorain, Ohio (WJW) – Lorraine police are investigating after a man was shot dead Tuesday afternoon.

Police were called to Block 1000 on Tower Boulevard after several gunshots were heard just before 3pm.

When they arrived, officers found two people with gunshot wounds in the parking lot.

One male, Lorraine’s 19-year-old Abraham Thomas Jr., was pronounced dead at the scene.

Another man was taken to Mercy Hospital to treat his injuries. Police did not release details of his condition.

Police say they are looking for a four-door blue Ford Focus tied to the investigation.
