Passengers at U.S. international airports can register for the 'Global Entry' program on the spot

Dayton, Ohio (WDTN) — U.S. Customs and Border Protection offers “Registration on Arrival” at many airports, including Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG). Global entry program.

The program will allow pre-approved, low-risk travelers arriving on international flights to skip the CBP screening line.

Conditional acceptance into this program requires only a valid passport, driver's license, and documentation of U.S. residency, such as a utility or credit card bill.

Once a traveler is conditionally approved, no further interview is required. Travelers can complete a registration interview when arriving on an international flight.

According to CBP, as an added benefit, Global Entry members are also eligible to participate in the TSA Pre✓™ expedited screening program, which allows travelers to pass through TSA without having to remove shoes or other requirements. Registration for the program costs $100 and is valid for five years.
