Plane crashes in Rosetown

Rhodestown, Ohio (WKBN) – The Ohio Highway Patrol is at the scene of the plane crash. This is his second small plane crash in the state in a week.

The plane crashed Sunday at Block 400 on Salt Springs Road in Warren.

According to Highway Patrol Sgt. Both passengers on the plane, Eric Goliath, were taken to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital with injuries that did not threaten his life.

Investigators said the plane took off from Block 500 on Salt Springs Road, crashed into a meadow, slid into a fence and burst into flames.

According to the captain’s family, both the captain and the passengers jumped off the plane.

The plane is a fixed-wing single-engine Stolp Starduster.

The plane took off from Columbus on Tuesday Crash in Marietta, Ohio, kills both men on board. Investigators have not released any information about the cause of the crash.
