Powerball draws are live every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 PM ET. Tickets are $2 per play and are available in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The odds of hitting the Powerball jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million.

Over the last few years, big lottery jackpots have become more common as lottery officials changed the rules and ticket prices to increase the big prizes.

Powerball’s biggest change came in 2021 when officials decided to add a Monday draw to the weekly lineup of Wednesday and Saturday night draws. At the time of the announcement, Powerball declared that the addition of Monday’s draw would lead to a “bigger, faster growing jackpot.”
