Satellite shows tornado storm across Midwest

(WJWs) – a time-lapse of satellite images from Joint research institute The atmosphere via Storyful shows a tornado and severe storm heading across the Midwest toward Ohio, Fox 8 meteorologists have confirmed.

Another thunderstorm hit the same area affected by the deadly storm over the weekend.

According to Storyful, the National Weather Service reported a dozen possible tornadoes in Illinois and Iowa on Tuesday.

The first rain falls between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm and between 4:00 pm and 10:00 pm.

“It’s the calm before the thunderstorm right now. A strong cold front will push our region away,” said Fox 8 meteorologist Jen Hercher.
