Sebring, Ohio (WKBN) – A man is facing 10 counts after police learned of child pornographic images at his Sebring home on Saturday morning, according to a press release.
According to a Sebring Police press release, on August 12, 2022, Sebring Police received a notice from the Ohio Internet Crime Task Against Children (ICAC) unit that the 500 block of North 19th Street in Sebring may contain child pornography. I got information that activity was reported.
According to the press release, the ICAC images expose girls between the ages of 11 and 13.
Sebring police executed a search warrant at the residence on 26 August. Police recovered an HP computer, flash drive, memory card, five phones and two tablets. Police were able to search the items on Sept. 15 after obtaining another warrant, according to a press release.
On October 4, police handed over the electronic device to the Criminal Investigation Service for further investigation. Electronics this year he was returned on January 11th.
Sebring police have reviewed the BCI investigation and created an arrest warrant for 56-year-old Scott Augustine.
Augustine was arrested Friday on nine counts of nudging obscenities involving minors and one count of pandering to sexual orientation issues involving minors.
Augustine is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.
