Suspect faces kidnapping, felony battery charge
Dayton, Ohio (WDTN) — Kason Thomas, one of the twins stolen in Columbus last week, caused an Amber Alert in multiple states and will be released from hospital today, according to Columbus affiliate WCMH.
A spokeswoman told WCMH that her family met with the woman who found Kason. She was rewarded $10,000 for the role of the woman finding him.
Nala Jackson remains in custody and is scheduled to meet with a judge in Indiana on Dec. 27.
Jackson faces two charges of kidnapping, in addition to a felony battery charge for allegedly spitting on a sheriff’s deputy.
