Dayton, Ohio (WDTN) — A tornado landed in Troy Saturday morning while a powerful storm passed through the state of Troy, causing devastating wind damage.

The National Weather Service in Wilmington, Ohio, confirmed a tornado formed near Troy, Miami County early in the morning on Saturday, April 1, 2023.

The conclusion comes from corroborating radar data and damage reports in the area, according to the release.
