lakewoodOhio (WJW) — No one is perfect in life, but St. Edward High School senior Henry Slavy was.

Slavy recently pitched a perfect game by not allowing a batter to get on base.

Slavy struck out 18 of the 21 batters he faced, gave up no hits and no walks, and he and his team made no errors in a 6-0 victory over Cardinal Mooney High School in Youngtown.

High school baseball games are played over seven innings, and in order for a starting pitcher to pitch a perfect game, he must get all 21 batters out in a row.

Now, another surprising development. Here is a video of Slavy's final out of a perfect game: Recorded by Jarrett Edwards. Edwards was the last St. Ed's pitcher to pitch a perfect game in 2016, eight years before Slavy achieved his perfect gem.
