COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — The Buckeyes beat Northwestern University 21-7 in gusts of wind and rain to remain undefeated and near the top of the College Football Playoff rankings.
Ohio State (9-0, 6-0) ranked second in the latest College Football Playoff voting, along with Georgia (1st), Michigan (3rd) and TCU (4th). No. 5 Tennessee and No. 6 Oregon are considered the first two teams from the playoffs by the Commission.
The Buckeyes will be looking to take their record to 10-0 when they face Indiana at 12:00 p.m. Saturday at Ohio Stadium. After that, OSU made him a regular on November 19 away against Maryland and November 26 against Michigan in Columbus to conclude his season.
