WPHS safety update after ‘Code Red’ lockdown
Ohio County, Virginia, Wisconsin (WTRF) — Following last week’s “Code Red” lockdown at Wheeling Park High School, the Ohio County Board of Education addressed concerns about protocol and school safety updates at tonight’s meeting. .
Wheeling Park High School principal Meredith Dailer and the building’s public resources officer commended students and staff for handling the situation last Thursday, but the building is gun-free and has no security guards. I reassured him that there was no threat.
