Janae Milhouse welcomes Freeman’s Synthia Lee Bankston, VI on New Year’s Day

BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) – Some celebrate the New Year, others celebrate new members of the family.

Just after 2:30 am, a New Year’s baby was born at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Boardman.

Janae Milhouse is the new mother of Freeman Cincere Lee Bankston of VI.

Milhouse says Freeman was scheduled for the 9th, but made a surprise appearance early.

“Everybody’s just…we’re happy, we’re ready, and having a baby for the New Year is a new thing,” she said.

Milhouse says the whole family is thrilled, including Freeman’s 7-year-old brother.
