Police: Ohio man arrested after trying to break into U.S. Capitol with hammer
Washington (WDVM) — An Ohio man was taken into custody Friday after allegedly bringing a hammer into the U.S. Capitol.
According to the U.S. Capitol Police, at around 3:40 p.m., staff at the Capitol Visitor Center were screening a man when an officer noticed a hammer in the man’s backpack passing through an X-ray machine. He said he noticed that.
