Two students killed, two injured in shooting near Chicago high school

Two students were killed and two teenagers injured in a shooting near a high school on Chicago’s West Side on Friday afternoon, officials said.

Chicago fire officials said four 16-year-olds were shot near Benito Juarez High School. Chicago Police Superintendent David Brown confirmed at a press conference that two of the victims had died.

Police spokesman Tom Ahern said four people were shot outside the school. Police and paramedics responded to the shooting shortly before 3pm on Friday.
