Still on the run after shooting and killing three gunmen and a carjacking driver in a Philadelphia suburb

Three people were killed in multiple shootings in a Philadelphia suburb Saturday morning, and the search continues for suspects, police said.

Falls Township, Pennsylvania, police said officers were dispatched to a residence on Viewpoint Lane in Levittown around 8:52 a.m. after receiving a report of a shooting.

Police said in a news release that preliminary information indicates that Andre Gordon, 26, who was driving the stolen vehicle, shot and killed the two residents of the residence.

After the incident, Gordon allegedly shot another person at a home on Edgewood Lane in Levittown and fled, police said.

They allegedly carjacked a driver at gunpoint around 9:13 a.m. in the parking lot of a Dollar General store in Morrisville. The driver was not injured, authorities said.

Police believe Gordon knew three people had been shot.

Authorities said the suspect is believed to have been driving a gray 2016 Honda CRV with a Pennsylvania license plate and a “Namaste” sticker in white letters on the right bumper.

Gordon is believed to be a homeless man with ties to Trenton, New Jersey. He was last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and police believe he was in possession of the assault rifle used in the shooting. Police warned they may be armed with additional weapons.

“Gordon is extremely dangerous and anyone who sees him or the vehicle is asked to call 911 immediately,” police said.

Falls Township residents were told to shelter in place, lock their doors and move to a safe location away from windows.

“Please follow all instructions given. Information will be shared as it becomes available,” Falls County Police said in a Facebook post.

In nearby Middletown Township, residents were told not to travel to Falls Township.

“The situation is fluid and we urge the community to take precautions,” Middletown Township said in a statement. “Please do not travel to Falls Township until further notice. If you live in an area adjacent to the Falls, you must shelter in place until further notice.”

U.S. Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick said he is in contact with law enforcement in the search for the suspect.

Gov. Josh Shapiro said he was briefed on the incident and asked state police to assist local law enforcement.

“People in the area should continue to shelter in place and listen to instructions from law enforcement,” he said in a post on X.

Levittown is located in the Philadelphia metropolitan area, approximately 42 miles from the city.
