Belmont County Tourism Authority awards $107,000 to 52 local nonprofits

Belmont County, Ohio (WTRF) – Belmont County’s 52 nonprofits have stepped up to help run their operations.

The Belmont County Tourism Board announced the recipients of the 2023 Grant Assistance Program. This was his best year yet with $107,000 awarded to 52 different nonprofits.

Jackie Pugh, Executive Director of the Belmont County Tourism Authority, said the ongoing COVID recovery has allowed us to spread more funding to more organizations than ever before.

These grants are intended to help “fill in the gaps” and assist organizations with events, projects, improvements and maintenance to enhance travel and tourism throughout Belmont County.
