Ohio Valley Students Compete at 2023 Scripps National Spelling Bee
Two local Ohio Valley students have advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2023 Scripps National Spelling Bee.
Shailyn Dennis of Beaver Regional Middle School and Andrew McDonald of Bishop John King Muscio Middle School are two of five remaining Ohioans in the 2023 Scripps National Spelling Bee.
Dennis previously competed in the 2022 Scripps National Spelling Bee and tied for 89th.News Partner Sponsor McDonald’s herald starHe also participated in 2022 and tied for 89th place.
